This is a rebuilt Weatherhead combination brake valve for 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, and 1982 Chevrolet Corvettes. The original GM part number is 1257208. I only have one valve left dated "3 044" (February 13, 1983) and I do not expect to get any more after this one is gone.
The valve was completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt using a new seal kit from Muscle Car Research LLC. All of the seals are made from an EPDM rubber compound that is fully compatible with automobile brake fluid. The threads are in great shape. It's ready to bolt on and go, and best of all it's an original GM part! Feel free to ask questions about the seal kit or the rebuild process.
