Muscle Car Research is proud to offer a rebuild kit for the 1970 GM 3983040 brake pressure distribution switch. Our kit contains all of the o-ring seals, springs, and brass tube seats needed to rebuild your leaky valve and return it to "like new" operating condition. The o-rings are molded from a 70 durometer ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber compound that is fully compatible with automobile brake fluid. The springs are made from type 302 stainless steel and feature squared and ground ends. All parts are made right here in the USA!
Original applications include the following 1970 model year vehicles with the JL2 power front disc brake and J50 power brake options:
- 1970 Chevrolet Camaro, Chevelle, Nova
- 1970 Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am
