Muscle Car Research is proud to offer a brand new reproduction of the D0ZZ-16C694-A hood trim support used on 1970 Ford Mustangs. This part fits between the leading edge of the hood and the bright hood trim molding and is held in place with three 1/8" pop rivets. Compared to the original part our reproduction has the same dimensions, the same galvanized steel material, the same bend along the bottom edge, and the same semi-gloss black finish. We go one better than the original paint by powder coating our reproduction to provide years of trouble-free service.
The Muscle Car Research store was down for a few days as a result of business travel and a PC crash that took me a few days to repair. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we're up and running again!

I just enabled a new tool that will hopefully make it easier to find parts on this web site. If you look towards the upper left corner of the site home page you'll see a block labeled "Search for Parts!". This new tool will let you for parts by your vehicle year, make, and model (ignore the "trim" field - it's not currently being used). Make your selections and hit the "Go" button to get a list of parts with pictures and prices.
I just completed the process of moving this web site to a new server. I think I have all of the issues worked out, but there's a chance I missed something. Please contact me if you run into any issues while browsing or trying to make a purchase.
I just added a new product to my inventory: a reproduction of the rubber shields used between the front bumper and stone deflector used on 1969 and 1970 Shelby Mustangs. We reverse-engineered an original shield to produce the most accurate reproduction on the market. Each set of two reversible shields is listed in our catalog for $20 plus shipping.
